To be fair, she's been in a pretty good mood for about two weeks now and although she doesn't want to jinx anything by talking too much it, she's kind of bursting. But more than that, she's feeling super motivated, so she's actually sat down at her computer for longer than fifteen seconds and looked into what it takes to build a website.
She'll have to pay for it, she realizes, she's not going to be able to do it by herself, but that's a cost she's willing to incur. At first she's going to start off simple, but before she goes live with any kind of blog, she wants to have more than one page and so she's investigating all her possible avenues, which is why she's called Grace and asked the other woman to meet her for coffee.
At the coffee shop, Kate's actually prepared. She got there a little earlier than she asked Grace to meet her, she has a notebook filled with notes and questions, but mostly right now she just wants to be able to give Grace an idea of what she has planned. This itself isn't the actual interview, but she has sample questions if Grace is curious.
She's excited. She's doing something productive and she's doing it on her own. She only hopes Grace will be interested in being involved.
Plus, she's dying to tell someone about her date.
